REACH is seeking dynamic,
motivated individuals to perform in the role of TRANSPORT RESPIRATORY THERAPIST. In this position you will participate in the transport of critically ill and injured patients. This position offers the right
candidate the opportunity to work with highly professional individuals in a progressive environment.
REACH operates Agusta 109, Bell 407 and BO105 helicopters,
and a King Air B200 and Cessna 421C airplanes to perform patient transports. Our Flight Nurse/Flight Paramedic teams respond to both scene and interfacility requests. REACH
has developed expertise in pediatric assessment, stabilization and transport and and is the preferred transport provider for Children’s Hospital Oakland, which is a pediatric trauma
center. REACH also performs transports to the PICUs of the University of California San Francisco Medical Center, California Pacific Medical Center and to the University of
California at Davis Medical Center. Coordination of all transport services is conducted by our dedicated in-house, satellite-based communication center. In 1998 REACH achieved
full accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS.) REACH is privately owned and operated.
Candidates should be prepared for the position by meeting the following
criteria:
* Eligibility for or current licensure as a respiratory therapist in the State of California * Minimum three years hospital RT experience
* Pediatric/Neonatal experience preferred * Basic computer skills (word processing, database) * Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Provider
* Must maintain a duty weight of less than 210 lbs. (body weight plus uniform/equipment)
