REACH helicopters are available 24 hours-a-day and airborne approximately four
minutes after dispatch. 

REACH is a full-spectrum air ambulance service providing adult and pediatric medical and trauma transport services. REACH is the preferred pediatric interfacility provider for the major Bay Area and Sacramento Valley PICUs.

REACH Flight Nurses have extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing.

REACH Flight Paramedics have extensive pre-hospital care and interfacility transport experience.

REACH’s Medical Director has more than 13 years experience in emergency medicine, and more than 12 years experience in aviation medicine, and performs 100% chart review.

REACH Pilots have an average of 5,000 hours experience as pilot in command of rotor wing aircraft.

REACH is the first and only air ambulance company in the United States to receive approval by the FAA to respond off airway, using its own GPS routes to specific hospitals.

REACH operates twin engine, instrument-flight capable, Agusta 109 helicopters with a cruise speed of 161 mph.  REACH also operates Bell 407s and a BO105..
