Anna Valdez, RN, PhD, CEN, CFRN - Vice President, Clinical Services
Dr. Anna Valdez has an extensive background in emergency nursing. She has held a variety of clinical nursing, administrative, prehospital, and clinical education positions. Dr. Valdez is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association. She has held positions at both the local and state level of ENA and is actively involved in national ENA injury prevention activities. Currently, Dr. Valdez serves as the co-editor for the Journal of Emergency Nursing, Injury Prevention Section.
Anna is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing. She received her Associate of Science in Nursing in 1992 from Santa Rosa Junior College, her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2003 and her Master of Nursing Science in 2005, both from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Valdez received her doctorate degree from Capella University, School of Education, in the Professional Studies specialization program. Her research interests are primarily focused on experiential learning and the development of clinical expertise in specialty practice.
